Varanam Ayiram

Gautham  & Surya are ready to rock the Diwali 08. Awaiting for its release since long time. Though Surya’s Vel was released last year same time, it still seems to be too long since we had a Surya movie. Hari will always have his touch in his movies and I would call Vel as Hari’s movie.

Lot of expectations are set on this movie. Surya with dual roles, with 3 heroines, a US happening story, 6-abs & what not. Whatever be the case, the only thing that gets to light before the movie is released is the MUSIC. Harris has proved it again for Gautham. Songs are awesome and Adiyae Kolluthae’s music and the dolby voice of Shruti Hassan is going to simply dominate very soon. I think its already doing it! Its a great intro to the famous actor’s daughter. Hoping to hear more songs from her. I hope Rehman already have her in his mind.

I wish this turns out to be a great success to Mr.Menon and also to charming Surya.

Kuselan in Phoenix

Its friday and Kuselan is realeasing all over the world. When movies are remade, there is always an arguement that the original is special when compared to the new ones.  Very true, it happened even with Chandramukhi. But you know what, if you prefer to enjoy the style and the masala aspects its better to watch the new one and then compare it with the original. Or else you will not be satisfied. This movie has created too much of hype inspite of being a remake. Superstar with his new getups(continues from Sivaji) is making the movie so special. I have 2 other stars who are my favourites acting in this movie – Pasupathy & Nayantara(lady superstar)! No big idea about G.V’s music in this movie. Hoping my friday night turns out enjoyable!

I am so proud & excited to start commenting on my pages on the movie wonder that I experienced last weekend. I feel its a movie portraying the artist’s passion for cinema. Kamal Hassan casted as Ulaga Nayagan in this movie is a priceless gift to Tamil Cinema. I dont mean to confine him to the Kollywood but still I am proud that he comes from Tamilnadu.

The actor has experienced each of his roles in the movie. Be it the mannerism, the makeup, the language – man he has done it marvellous! I am an ardent fan of Kamal Hassan and feel so fullfilled with this movie of him. The screenplay – you have to clearly & seriously watch the movie or else you will miss the bonding between the different aspects of the story. I would call it the best screenplay that would suit this kind of movie. Anjathaey was the last one that I really enjoyed talking abt the screenplay. The picture below was taken at the theatres Cinemark – Mesa(Phoenix), Arizona, that screened Dasavatharam.
